Cheryl A. Cooke

Cheryl A. Cooke, 61 of Connellsville, passed away, Thursday, June 22, 2023 at her home surrounded by her family.  She was born March 28, 1962 in Mt. Pleasant a daughter of Merle and Martha (Kropp) Crouse who survive.

Cheryl was employed as Physical Therapy Assistant with Amedisys Home Health.  She was an active and faithful member of Center Bethel Church of God, Alverton where she was a member of the choir and performed special music.  In 2017, she embarked on a special bike trip to Washington, DC with friends.  Cheryl also enjoyed fishing and gardening.

In addition to her parents, Cheryl is survived by her son, Steven Cooke and wife Carrianne; her daughter, Jennifer Wadsworth and husband, Randy; five grandchildren, Isabella, Gabrielle and Elijah DeBlasio and Tyler and Aubrey Wadsworth; her siblings, Darla Kraynak and husband Vince, Lisa Shaw and husband Thomas K. Shaw, Jr. and Merle Crouse, II and wife Mary; several nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews.  

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Cooke on June 7, 2009.

Family and friends are welcome on Sunday from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at GRAFT-JACQUILLARD FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, INC. 303 Pittsburgh St. Scottdale where services will be held on Monday at 10:30 am with Pastor Lee Kline officiating.  Private burial will take place in Gilmore Cemetery, Sinnemahoning, PA.
