Denise Knopsnider

Denise L. Knopsnider, 64 of Hunker, passed away Saturday, Sept. 18, 2021.  She was born December 31, 1956 in Mt. Pleasant a daughter of the late Daniel and Sara (Sanner) Worry.

Denise enjoyed playing bingo and cards, shopping, loved spending time with her family and enjoyed her late night phone calls with her sisters.

She is survived by her daughter, Sharon M. Vernon and fiancé, Scott; her son, Michael S. Vernon; grandchildren, Sarah E. Vernon, Haley M. Vernon, Hannah R. Vernon and Emily D. Krezan; two great-granddaughters, Clara E. and Olivia Macioce; her brothers and sisters, Ruby Stull, Maxine Ewing, Ronald Vernon (Suzanne), Patricia Edwards (David), Daniel Vernon, Vicky Miscik, Rob Vernon and Leah Firestone (Richard) and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Wilma Hollis, Shirley Kreinbrook and Arlene Shultz.

Family and friends are welcome on Wednesday from 4 to 7 pm at GRAFT-JACQUILLARD FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, INC. 303 Pittsburgh St. Scottdale where services will be held Thursday at 10 am.  Interment will take place in Westmoreland County Memorial Park.  Online condolences are welcome at www.gjfuneral.com
