Dennis Polyblank

August 21, 1953 — January 6, 2021

Dennis Harold Polyblank, 67, of East Huntingdon Township died January 06, 2021 at his home.

Mr. Polyblank was a Pennsylvania native born at Connellsville State Hospital, August 21, 1953 to Robert Alan Polyblank Sr and Eleanor Loretta Polyblank. He was a graduate of the 1971 class of Connellsville Area School District; the first class to graduate from the newly completed Connellsville Area High School (CAHS) building. Mr. Polyblank was a musical student who played the Tuba in the CAHS Falcon Band, Symphonic Band, Concert Band, and Royal Blues jazz band under the direction of the late Mr. Ronald Scott. He was proud of his Connellsville Falcon class and spoke fondly of his friends and memories there.

After attending Philadelphia College of Bible, Mr. Polyblank returned to the Connellsville/East Huntingdon area where he began working at the Lenox Inc. stemware crystal factory in Mt. Pleasant, PA. From 1974 until the plant’s permanent closure on January 31, 2002, he worked as both a hot and cold manufacturing employee and represented his chapter of the American Flint Glass Workers union at various points in his career. In 2003, Mr. Polyblank graduated at the top of his academic class with an Associate’s Degree in Computer Networking Systems from ITT Technical Institute in Monroeville, PA. He worked proudly as a computer network technician, beginning a new career at the age of 50, until retirement.

Mr. Polyblank married Kimberley Renee Fencil June 30, 1984. They had two sons, Justin & Jared Ryan Polyblank; born June 28, 1987 and December 21, 1989, respectively. His dedication and love for his family was his life’s work, which continued long after his retirement.

He was a faithful Christian whose immediate and extended family have been longtime members of Pennsville Baptist Church in Mt. Pleasant.

Dennis was a deeply passionate man, stoic in his convictions and unflinchingly dedicated to those for which he cared. He remained in close communication with his entire extended family until his death and will be remembered for his unmistakable humor, stubbornness, and curiosity.

He is survived by his wife, Kimberley; his son Justin and daughter-in-law Kaitlin Donohue; his son Jared; his two brothers Robert Alan Polyblank Jr and wife Angie and Douglas Eric Polyblank and wife Beverly; his aunt Lois Rosolino and her husband Joseph;  his mother in law, Shirley G. Fencil and his sister in law, Lois Ann Fencil;  his cousin Susan Morrison and her husband David Morrison as well as several cousins, nieces, and nephews.

In addition to his parents Robert and Eleanor, he was preceded in death by his brother James Polyblank and James’ wife Betty; his nephew, Stephen Polyblank and his two aunts Dorothy Reyes and Elaine Bonanza.
