Emma Jean Harris, 76, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away, Tuesday, March 25, 2014 in Excela Frick Hospital, Mt. Pleasant. She was born May 11, 1937 in Van Meter a daughter of the late Robert and Viola (Greenawalt) Scott.
Emma Jean was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She had been employed by L.E. Smith Glass and Williamhouse both of Mt. Pleasant. She was also a member of Mt. Joy Church of the Brethren, Mt Pleasant.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Ronald Allen Swartz; a great-granddaughter and the following brothers and sisters, Donald and Lou Scott, Kenneth (Bib) Niswonger and Bobby, James and Liz Scott.
She is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Kenneth "Harve" Harris; sons, Edward Swartz (Roxanne); Jeff Swartz (Sandy); a daughter in law, Wendy Swartz; and three daughters through marriage; Marjorie Keno (Aaron); Amy Spears (John); and Natalie Harris; eight grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
Family and friends will be received at GRAFT-JACQUILLARD FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, INC. 303 Pittsburgh St. Scottdale on Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm where services will be held Saturday at 10:30 am in the funeral home with Rev. Lee Smith officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Joy Cemetery.

Service: Saturday 10:30 am in the funeral home
