Ethel B. Benedict, 90 of Mt. Pleasant, passed away, Thursday, April 18, 2024 at her residence. She was born March 15, 1934 a daughter of the late Clarence and Bertha (Walker) Kring.
Ethel was the owner of Young At Heart Children’s Clothing Store, Mt. Pleasant and a graduate of Scottdale High School Class of 1951.
She is survived by her son, Tim Berg; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Philip Benedict, her son, Fred Berg, five sisters and six brothers.
At Ethel’s request services will be private under the direction of GRAFT-JACQUILLARD FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., Scottdale. She will be laid to rest in the Oakland Cemetery, Indiana, next to her parents. Online condolences are welcome at www.gjfuneral.com
