Gerald C. Libengood, Jr.
August 18, 1955 — December 31, 2015
Gerald C. “Jerry” Libengood, Jr, 60 of Mt. Pleasant, passed away December 31, 2015 surrounded by his family. Jerry was born August 18, 1955 in Mt. Pleasant a son of the late Gerald C. and MaryAnne (Permuko) Libengood.
Jerry enjoyed repairing lawn mowers, carpentry, fishing and helping others. He had previously been employed at Firestone Building Products, Youngwood. He was a veteran of the US Army and was a member of the American Legion, Mt. Pleasant.
Jerry is survived by two daughters, Amanda Whitehead (Jeff) and Rebecca Leidy (Josh); three grandchildren; a brother, Robert Permuko (Arlene); three sisters, Debra Dzambo; Nancy Glowacki (Mark) and Rita Scrabot (Denny); also survived by several aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Jason Libengood.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held in Jerry’s memory on Saturday, January 9, 2016 at Noon at Calvary Chapel of Westmoreland County, Southwest Greensburg with Pastor Clark Lauffer officiating.
