Howard James Tyrrell, II, 68 of Everson, passed away, Friday, September 22, 2017 at his home. He was born March 25, 1949 in Warren, OH a son of the late Robert and Rose (Carter) Tyrrell.
Howard was a retired mechanic having worked in the automotive industry. He was a veteran of the US Army serving during the Vietnam conflict. Howard enjoyed spending time with family and friends and riding his Harley. He was a NASCAR fan and had built race cars over the years with his father. Howard was also a lead singer in the band “Gary and the Fabulites.”
He is survived by his wife Catherine A. Tyrrell; his two children, Heidi Cholock and her husband Rico; and Jon Tyrrell and his fiance April Shroyer; six grandchildren, Sonny Wiltrout, Arianna Cholock, Haley Tyrrell, Charley Tyrrell, Caleb Malone and Regan Shroyer; a sister, Sue Watson and his canine companion, “Dog.”
A Celebration of Life Party in Howard’s honor will be held on Saturday, October 14 at 4 pm at the Everson VFW Post #595, 401 Shipley Street, Everson, PA. 15631.
