James R. "JR" Zaffina, 29 of Scottdale, passed away, unexpectedly, Thursday, June 25, 2015. He was born May 27, 1986 in Greensburg a son of James R. Zaffina and Shirley (Etling) Zaffina.
JR was a graduate of Southmoreland High School Class of 2004 and was currently working in the construction business.
He is survived by two children, Angelina and Breonna Zaffina; his mother, Shirley Zaffina and Rob Vernon; his father, James R. Zaffina and wife Jenny; a sister, Emily Zaffina; his grandparents, Pete and Kathy Zaffina; two nephews, Dominic and Dylan Gootz and several, aunts, uncles and cousins.
JR was preceded in death by his grandparents, Claire Petrisin and Harry and Ethel Etling.
