Jane A. Yuhouse, 56, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away peacefully, Saturday, November 16, 2013 in Forbes Regional Hospital surrounded by her family. Jane was born February 10, 1957 a daughter of the late Alice Jane McBeth Zwierzelewski.
She was recently employed as a candy maker with Brown's Candy Kitchen, Mt. Pleasant and had previously been employed with Levin Furniture and Mar-Bill both in Mt. Pleasant. She was a graduate of Southmoreland High School Class of 1975 and had also served as an Avon representative for over 25 years. She enjoyed and looked forward to family vacations and traveling to National Parks. Jane was well known for her kindness and baking. She was always willing to offer help and her baked goods to family and friends.
Jane is survived by her loving husband, Richard F. "Rich" Yuhouse, whom she married September 24, 1977; her devoted son, Ian R. Yuhouse; her brother, Tom Zwierzelewski and wife Ruth and their family, Laurel Koher (Will); Brock Zwierzelewski and Brittany Mardis (Michael); great niece, Lilly; her father in law, Andrew Yuhouse; brother in law, Paul Yuhouse and family, Ashley and Josh Yuhouse; sister in law and brother in law, Cindy Szczygiel (Dan) and family, Amanda McCune (Adam) and Selina Szczygiel (Joe); longtime friends, Dave and Linda Beal and several aunts uncles and cousins.
Family and friends will be received at GRAFT-JACQUILLARD FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC. 303 Pittsburgh St. Scottdale on Tuesday and Wednesday from 2-4 & 6-8 pm. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11 am in the funeral home with Rev. Thomas Shirer officiating. Interment will follow in the Alverton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice in her memory. Jane's family would like to express their sincere gratitude to Dr. John Waas and the staff of Oak Brook Commons for their care and compassion
