John Fabiszewski

John J. Fabiszewski, 83 of Scottdale, entered eternal life on Thursday, March 12, 2014 in Point Manor North, Uniontown where he had been a resident. John was born June 24, 1931 in Scottdale a son of the late John and Sophia (Deska) Fabiszewksi.
He was a devout Catholic and longtime member of the Partner Parish of St. John the Baptist, Scottdale. John enjoyed planting flowers at his home and was an active volunteer at St. Emma's Monastery, Greensburg. He was also a veteran of the US Army.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Agnes Fabiszewski and Theresa Farrell and two brothers, Bernard Fabiszewski and Ted Fabe.
He is survived by a sister, Genevieve Uhrinek of Youngwood and a brother, Thomas Fabiszewski of Greensburg and several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received on Sunday from 1-3 & 5-7 pm at GRAFT-JACQUILLARD FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, INC. 303 Pittsburgh St. Scottdale where Prayers of Transfer will be recited on Monday at 10:30 am followed by a Funeral Mass at 11 am in the Partner Parish of St. John the Baptist with Rev. Andrew M. Kawecki as celebrant. Interment will be private in the church cemetery. The Ministry of Consolation will conduct a vigil service on Sunday at 12:45 pm in the funeral home.
