John Wright

John Loren Wright, 91, of Pittsburgh, passed away, Friday, March 4, 2016. He was born December 13, 1924 in Glenshaw a son of the late Harry Thomas and Ethel (Hunter) Wright.
John was a long time resident of Wilkinsburg and most recently resided at Harmon House Care Center, Mt. Pleasant. He was married to Lucille Virginia Spitzer on May 14, 1946. He was a veteran of the US Army and worked for the Port Authority until his retirement. He was also an amateur radio operator for many years with the call sign K3AZP.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lucille, three sisters, Zella F. Hinel, Laura W. Broge, Ethel Fredley and three brothers, Glenn A. Wright, Harry D. Wright and William H. Wright.
Surviving are his daughters, Lydia V. Worthington and Susan A. Wright.
