Joseph Stephen Fabian

Joseph Stephen Fabian, 73, of Scottdale, PA formerly of Yatesboro, PA passed away on Friday, October 27, 2023 peacefully in his sleep at Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg, PA. He was born on September 29, 1950 to Frank M. and Anna (Filisko) Fabian in Yatesboro, PA. Joe was of Catholic Faith. He was employed at Season-All where he met his beautiful wife Anita, then went on to work with Volkswagen, U.S. Steel and his personal locksmith business.  Joe enjoyed coaching his sons in various sports when they were growing up and was quick to help others in need. Joe is survived by his sons, Christopher of Scottdale, PA and Nicholas of Pittsburgh, PA; brother-in-law Arthur (Mindy) Zottola; sisters-in-law, Judy Fabian of Ford City; Donna Zottola of Gun Barrell, TX and Patricia Wojton of Wilmerding, PA; nephews, Michael, Patrick and Frank and nieces, Sheri, Jenni, Lisa, Kristina, and Kayleigh. He is preceded in death by both parents; his loving wife, Anita; brothers, John "Bunt" and Francis "Fabe" Fabian; sister Mary Ann and brother-in-law Richard Zottola. A private burial will take place at St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Cemetery.
