Kay M. Piper, 73, of Scottdale, passed away, Thursday, March 16, 2017 at her home. She was born February 9, 1944 in Mt. Pleasant a daughter of the late Lawrence and Abby (Smith) Pluck.
Kay was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She always had a smile and her family and grandchildren were most important to her. She was a graduate of Scottdale High School and was a former bus driver for the Southmoreland School District. Most recently, she had been a driver for Westmoreland Multi-Services.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her husband, Fred T. Piper; three daughters, Kelly J. Wissler, Kerrie A. Fisher and Tonya L. Piper; three grandchildren, Michaela J. Fisher, Cullen T. Fisher and Haven N. Skero and three great-grandchildren, Syndil Fisher, Cullette Fisher and Jayce Gross.
Private services for Kay are in the care of GRAFT-JACQUILLARD FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, INC. 303 Pittsburgh St. Scottdale and interment will take place in St. John’s Union Cemetery, Mt.
