Leslie Lint

Leslie W. (Les) Lint, 82 of Scottdale, went home to be with his Lord on December 26, 2020 at Excela Latrobe Hospital.  He was born July 26, 1938 in Dickerson Run a son of the late Walter and Freda (Lutz) Lint.

He was a graduate of Dunbar Township High School.  He was a faithful servant of the Lord serving at the Vanderbilt Church of Christ as elder, teacher, youth leader, choir director and in various other capacities over the years.

Les worked as a surveyor for Penn Dot retiring in 1994 after 34 years of service.  He enjoyed bowling, sports, southern gospel music and painting.  He began bowling as a teenager and bowled every year until this past spring when facilities closed as a result of the corona virus.  He loved people and enjoyed life.  He also served on the board of the Dickerson Run Cemetery.

Along with his love for the Lord, he cherished his wife of 60 years, Sandy (Rosensteel) Lint and adored his children, Diane Yowonske and husband Jim, Jerry Lint and Jane Fronius, six grandchildren, Michael, Eric and his wife Emily, and Jesse Yowonske, Denae Lint and Mason and Aidan Fronius, two great-grandchildren, Phi Dodato and Silas Yowonske and a special family friend, Theresa Teets.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his precious son, Ricky in 1972, brothers, Darrell, Melvin, James, Ray and Tom and sisters, Glenna, Twila, Wilma and Pelina (Sis).

Family and friends are welcome on Wednesday from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at GRAFT-JACQUILLARD FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, INC 303 Pittsburgh Street Scottdale.  A private family service will be held on Thursday with Pastor Greg Pelc officiating followed by interment in the Dickerson Run Cemetery.  In compliance with CDC guidelines, masks are required, and social distancing must be maintained.  We respectfully ask visitors to be patient as we observe occupancy limits during the visitation.
