Lucille Leonard

Lucille Leonard, 80 of Dawson passed away, Tuesday, June 28, 2022. She was born February 14, 1942 in Lower Tyrone Township the youngest daughter of the late Emerson and Ruth (Oldland) Conn.

Lucille was previously employed by Connellsville Sportswear, Sony, and most recently worked at the Scottdale Public Library. She was a graduate of Frazier High School- Class of 1960, and an active member of the Brownfield Community Center.

She is survived by three children, Elizabeth Leonard, Richard Leonard (Michele) and Amanda Leonard (Steven Siwula); four beloved grandchildren, Jamie Lynn Leonard, Wyatt David Leonard, Austin Lee Leonard and John Steven Siwula; her brother, Richard Conn and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John D. Leonard, a son, John David Leonard, II and two sisters, Irene Conn and Hazel Becker.

At Lucille’s request, there will be no public viewing. Family and friends are invited to a Graveside service on Saturday, July 9, 2022 at 11 am at Wesley Chapel Cemetery. Lucille’s memorial service will follow at 12:30 pm in the Brownfield Community Center, Dawson.

Arrangements are in the care of GRAFT-JACQUILLARD FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., Scottdale. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Tyrone Presbyterian Church, the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
