Mary Hough

Mary L. Hough, formerly of Dawson, passed away, Saturday, December 16, 2017 in Upton’s Personal Care Home, Normalville.  She was born July 21, 1926 in Connellsville, a daughter of the late H. Dennis and Daisy (Moore) Barclay.

Mary was a loving and kind homemaker caring for family.  Early in her working career, she was a window dresser for the Troutman Department Store, Connellsville, of which she was very proud.  She was a member of Faith Bible Church, Connellsville.  Mary was an artist and also a vocalist who performed at many venues throughout the area with her late husband, Donald Hough.

She is survived by two daughters, Debbie Hough and Sandy Clark; three grandchildren, Stormie Cannistraci (Jerrod); Sterling Clark (Alicia) and Sawyer Clark; a great-granddaughter, Margot Cannistraci and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald J. Hough (May 7, 2008) and four brothers, James, Harmer, Reid and George Barclay.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service to honor Mary on Friday, April 20 at 3pm in Faith Bible Church, 425 S. Arch St, Connellsville with Rev. Barry Witt officiating.    Arrangements are in the care of GRAFT-JACQUILLARD FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, INC. 303 Pittsburgh St. Scottdale.  Memorials may be made to: Faith Bible Church of Connellsville or the Humane Society.
