Michael Clyde Adams, 64, of Scottdale, lost his battle with leukemia on Tuesday, November 10, 2015. He was born November 7, 1951 in Wilkinsburg a son of the late Clyde F. Adams, Jr. and Mary Ann (Connors) Adams.
Mike and his wife, Sue, met in high school and reconnected 33 years later. He worked in the family business, Wilkinsburg Hardware and Bortz Hardware, Greensburg. A long time member of the East Huntingdon Sportsman's Association, Mike was an active hunter, outdoorsman, trap shooter and traditional archer.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Dr. Colleen Adams.
Mike is survived by his wife of nine years, Susan Wright; a sister, Cindy Kohlmeyer (Bill); a brother, Gary Adams (Kelly Binkley); nieces, Erika and Erin Adams; nephews, Nicholas Randolph (Amanda) and Christopher Randolph (Heather Rayman); stepdaughters, Lynn Huffman and Kandy Eyles; his son, Erik Adams and grandchildren, Dustin, Xander and Athena.
There will be no public viewing and arrangements are in the care of GRAFT-JACQUILLARD FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, INC. Scottdale. A memorial service is being planned at the East Huntingdon Sportsman's Association and will be announced at a later date.
