Orin Weaver

Orin Kenneth Weaver, 95, of Bullskin Township, passed away Thursday, May 13, 2009 in Excela Health Frick Hospital, Mt. Pleasant. Mr. Weaver was born October 11, 1914 in Bullskin Township a son of the late Orin T. and Emma B. (Ghrist) Weaver. He retired from US Steel Christy Park Works where he had been employed as a furnace operator. He was a member of Pennsville Baptist Church and was a member of the Bullskin Township Fair Board. In addition, he belonged to the Appalachin Wagon Train Association, Horse and Mule Pullers Association and the National Pike Wagon Train Association. Ken is survived by his two loving sons, Roy K. Weaver and wife Beverly of Mt. Pleasant and Charles C. Weaver and wife Dawn of Ruffsdale; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a son-in-law, Dean Angel of Connellsville; and several nieces and nephews. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. In addtion to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Charlet R. (Lentz) Weaver in 2003; a daughter, Helen W. Angel in 2009; a grandson, Brent Weaver and several brothers and sisters. Family and friends will be received at GRAFT-JACQUILLARD FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC. 303 Pittsburgh St. Scottdale (724-887-7110) on Saturday from 6-8 pm and on Sunday from 2-4 & 6-8 pm where funeral services will be held Monday at 11 am with Rev. Robert H. Bixel officiating. Graveside services and interment will follow in Green Ridge Memorial Park, Pennsville.
