Patty Konieczny, 72 of Everson, went home to be with the Lord on December 18, 2024 at her home. Born on June 23, 1952 in Connellsville, she was the daughter of Walter S. Soltysiak of Everson and Elizabeth Mormok of Carpentertown.
Patty was a 1970 graduate of Geibel Catholic High School and was employed as a Title Clerk for fifteen years at the former Laurel Ford. She had a knack for appreciating the simple pleasures in life, and found the greatest joy in her family, shopping trips to the mall, and watching the birds. In her younger years, she was also an accomplished and talented photographer.
Patty leaves behind to cherish her memories, her loving and devoted husband, Tom, who tirelessly cared for her at home; her best friend and daughter, Elizabeth Konieczny of Pittsburgh; a brother, Walter P. (Kathy) Soltysiak of Sykesville, MD; sister-in-law, Carol A. Brown and her husband, Larry G. Brown of Oregon, sister-in-law, Mary Lou Konieczny and brother-in-law, Mark Konieczny both of Mt. Pleasant, as well as, several nieces and nephews.
Patty was preceded in death by her parents Walter and Elizabeth and several aunts, and uncles.
Family and friends will be received on Sunday, December 22 from 2-4 pm at GRAFT-JACQUILLARD FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, INC. 303 Pittsburgh St. Scottdale. Patty’s funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, December 23 at 10 am in St. John the Baptist RC Church, Scottdale. Interment will be private. The family would like to thank the staff of Excela Home Hospice for their excellent care. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National MS Society @ donate.nationalmssociety.org.
