Paul E. Corkran, 89 of Scottdale, passed away, Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at his home. He was born March 24, 1925 in Connellsville a son of the late Earle and Alice (Neibich) Corkran.
Paul retired from Delmont Fuel and was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Scottdale. He was also a veteran of WW II serving in the US Navy on the USS McLanahan and was a member of United Mine Workers Union Local 762.
He is survived by his loving wife, Beverly (Reid) Corkran and their dog, Spanky; two daughters, Pamela Grabiak and Joe Luczka; and Cheryl Jacobs; four grandchildren, Tommy and Leah Grabiak and Corey and Megan Jacobs and a brother, William Corkran.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Katherine Corkran and Laura Cole.
Family and friends are welcome on Sunday from 5-8 pm at GRAFT-JACQUILLARD FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, INC. 303 Pittsburgh St. Scottdale where services will be held Monday at 10 am with the Rev. Stephen C. Moore officiating. Interment will follow in Green Ridge Memorial Park with military honors bestowed by the Scottdale/Everson Honor Guard.
