Robert E. "Bobby" Baughman, 51 of Alverton, passed away Saturday, April 2, 2011 in UPMC Montefiore Hospital. He was born April 28, 1959 in Mt. Pleasant a son of the late William Baughman and Margaretta (Miller) Baughman Ohler.
Bobby was employed as a parts salesman with NAPA Auto Parts, Scottdale and was an avid car enthusiast. He enjoyed NASCAR and drag racing. He was a veteran of the US Army and was a member of the Scottdale VFW Post 7781 and the Assunta Club, Mt. Pleasant.
Bobby his survived by his loving companion, Tammy Lint of Dawson; his sister, Beverly Daugherty and husband James of Kingwood, WV; brothers, Bill Baughman and wife Debbie of Mt. Pleasant and Edward Baughman and wife Carol of Greensburg; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Bonnie Baughman and Mary Lou Killinger.
Family and friends will be received on Monday from 2 to 8 pm at GRAFT-JACQUILLARD FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC. 303 Pittsburgh St., Scottdale, (724-887-7110 where funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10:30 am in the funeral home with Rev. Richard Schimansky officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Joy Cemetery, Mt. Pleasant Twp. with military honors bestowed by the Southmoreland Veterans Honor Guard.
