Toni Smithula
March 7, 1944 — August 7, 2016
Toni R. Smithula, 72 of Scottdale, passed away Sunday, August 7, 2016 at her home. She was born March 7, 1944 in Mt. Pleasant a daughter of the late Clarence and Ethel Omlor Brown.
Prior to her retirement, Toni was an educator and was employed by the Southmoreland School District and, most recently, the Connellsville Area School District. She enjoyed shopping and was an avid reader. She was also a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Scottdale.
Toni is survived by her loving and devoted family which includes, her husband, George Smithula; her two sons, Steve Smithula and his wife Christina, and Todd Smithula and his wife Nicole; her grandson, Jacob Smithula and her granddaughter, Sydney Smithula; a brother, Terry Brown and his wife Laurie and her nephew, Jason.
Private services for Toni are in the care of GRAFT-JACQUILLARD FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, INC. 303 Pittsburgh St. Scottdale. The family suggests memorials in her memory be made to a charity of one’s choice.
