Veronica Lewis

Veronica E. “Betty” Lewis, 85 of Scottdale, passed away, Friday, April 13, 2018 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital.  She was born July 18, 1932 in Dunbar Township a daughter of the late Abraham and Mary (Fasulka) Alberts.

She was a graduate of Dunbar High School and had formerly been employed at Miedel’s Restaurant, Connellsville.  Betty was a certified nurse assistant and prior to her retirement worked at Scottdale Manor Rehab and Woodcrest Senior Living.

She is survived by her grandchildren, Shawn Martin, Nikki Martin, Chris Martin and Logan Martin, several great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Jon Martin; four sisters, Sophia Nassar, Ann Lentz, Lou Gaudiello and Mary Nalevanko and six brothers, Joseph, Danny, Adam, Frank, Michael and David Alberts.
