William Roeder

William J. Roeder, 61 of Alverton passed away Friday, July 27, 2018.  He was born January 2, 1957 in Braddock a son of the late Carl and Catherine (Peterson) Roeder.

Prior to his retirement, Bill was an administrator at LJ Aviation and had a long tenure in the US Air Force attaining the rank of Master Sergeant.  Bill had many interests among them were astronomy, archaeology and stamp collecting.

He is survived by his wife, Debra J. (Seaman) Roeder; his two daughters, Heather Michelle DePalma and her husband John DePalma III and Shelly Marie Kolar and her husband Sean Kolar; his grandson, Landon John DePalma; his sister Carol Ann Wewetzer (Norman) and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Joan Crosby and a brother, James Roeder.
